There is a Harry Potter-themed tea room in Fredonia

I wrote this back in April:

There’s nothing to do in Fredonia

With a population just over 11,000, Fredonia isn’t big enough for some people.

“There’s nothing to do in such a small town. It’s nice to go to college here, but it’s not somewhere I’d want to live forever.”

I walked into a small coffee shop the other night to see forty people practicing the ukulele. A middle-aged woman has managed to start a ukulele meet-up that attracts dozens of people every Friday evening. A group of forty people sat together practicing an obscure instrument in a tucked-away corner on Main Street.

It seems community can be built just about anywhere by people who care.”

A Harry Potter-themed tea room opened right in the heart of Fredonia two weeks ago, A Spot and a Spell. I learned about it from reading an article in The Leader. You probably get the point, but let me make it explicit anyways:

You always get two options: complain that there’s nothing to do where you live, or create something to do.
