Wage discrimination is still common in the United States.
In 2016, the median annual income for a man was $51,640. For a woman it was $41,554.
A white man’s median annual income was $56,386. A Hispanic woman’s was $30,482. (You can read the entire report here.)
The causes for the pay gap are varied and complex, but it’s safe to say that misogyny is alive and well in the United States today.
I’m not sure what the solution is, but looking for a sugar daddy probably doesn’t help.
