Fredonia Athletics has new standards. They’re easiest to describe by telling you what behaviors are expected:
- Leaning into conflict.
- Being nice.
- Having audacious goals.
But they might be best described by what beliefs are expected:
- “I can be great.”
- “We can beat them.”
- “Having conflict with a teammate will help us both grow.”
- “I’m the type of person who can lead.”
- “Relationships with my teammates are the most important thing.”
Many college students aren’t interested in these standards—some just want to smoke pot and chill. Fine, but please don’t be a part of our program.
Please quit, because you can’t have it both ways anymore.
