I’m not a nutritionist; I can’t tell you what to eat and what not to eat with any credibility.
But I did have two conversations with student-athletes yesterday about nutrition. They both resulted in the same advice: Let’s measure it.
Let’s track everything you eat, when you eat it, and how much of it you eat. Then let’s use the scale–or better yet, the Bod Pod–to see what your weight is and what your body fat percentage is.
Given enough time, taking the measurements is enough to make drastic changes in the way one behaves, which tends to change the way one looks, feels, and performs.
[Still, some nutrition advice for what it’s worth: If you could find it somewhere outside, it’s probably good to eat. If you can’t find a bagel growing on a tree, maybe limit the number of bagels you eat.]
