Last night a freshman told me she was nervous about coming to Fredonia because it has a reputation for being a party school. I asked her if that had been her experience so far.
“No,” she responded, shrugging her shoulders.
Of course, plenty of students are partying, but you don’t notice if you’re not focusing on them. College has always been what you make of it, whether you’re at Fredonia or Harvard.
That said, if you’re not happy with Fredonia’s perceived purpose, create a new one.
