Last week I had two conversations that went something like this:
“I slipped on ice walking to class this morning and so many people saw me. Then, I found out that a professor I don’t like is teaching a class I need to graduate next semester. Then, I had trouble understanding my accounting professor and it’s making me worry that I’m not going to get an ‘A’ in the class. Then, to top it all off, I lost my FredCard.”
This is the definition of a bad day to some people. To others, these are normal occurrences on the way to yet another good day. You get to choose which kind of person you become.
Yes, you could insist that the universe provides you with perfect days, but I don’t think the universe is particularly interested in your happiness.
