“What’s my purpose in life?”

This is an impossibly unfair question to ask yourself. A better question is, “What’s the next right thing to do?” You’re free to choose.

It’s great if you can look back over the course of your life and find a purpose to it all, but it doesn’t do you much good to try and predict your purpose in advance, or to search for meaning where there is none.

“I believe everything happens for a reason,” is a sure sign of someone who’s afraid of freedom.
